The Home Buyer's Assistance Foundation (HBAF is HUD approved, non-profit organization dedicated to helping future homeowners. HBAF provides down payment assistance, comprehensive education and credit counseling. We have teamed up with Freddie Mac to help pilot their Dispel the Myth initiative. Dispel the Myth is an aggressive outreach campaign designed to increase awareness of homeownership opportunities and thereby increase the overall number of homeowners. We share this gola along with those of you working in the industry. You can refer potential homeowners who have challenges that may prevent a closing at this time. Clients are educated, counseled, and referred back to the original source. Description of services: Down Payment.Closing Assistance Buyers can use ou gift to overcome the challenge of limited funds. We provided 3-6% of purchase price with participation. Funds are not limited to income, location, or amount of property.
